Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> Backups to Tape?
I'm currently involved in a discussion about the virtues of backups to disk
AND to tape of production databases. I'm for the idea, and there are others
who are only wanting to backup to disk, and want to depend on our DR server
for any other recovery requirement. I'm looking for your thoughts on this
topic. Anyone want to contribute some good reasons to g ahead and backup to
tape anyway?
