8i Installation

Hi,

     When trying to install oracle 8.1.6 on compaq server, gives message DISPLAY not set???. What values should be set here to start the installation. Any other special things apart from default installations to be taken care of.

I would like to know is there any website(s) available with Case studies dealing with such migration work. (or) steps for migration, etc.

Any body worked on such proj?.
