Hi,
You need to set your DISPLAY environment variable in order to use the GUI. It would be the IP address of your local work station and would look something like 135.194.22.222:0.

When trying to install oracle 8.1.6 on compaq server, gives message
DISPLAY not set???. What values should be set here to start the
installation. Any other special things apart from default installations to
be taken care of.
