From Oracle FAQ
Twitter is a service that allows friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent posts. Users send "updates" or "tweets" (max 140 characters long text posts) to the Twitter website (micro-blogging). These updates are then displayed on the user's profile page and instantly delivered to other users who have signed up to receive them.
You can identify yourself as an Oracle-related tweeter by following @oracle or @orafaq on Twitter.
