It turns out that I am able to get SQLPLUS to report it is 8.1.5.0.2.
On the very first line of output, it reports 8.1.5.0.0, but then after you connect to a database, it reports 8.1.5.0.2.
[root_at_web oracle]# sqlplus
SQL*Plus: Release 8.1.5.0.0 - Production on Thu Jan 13 21:53:35 2000 (c) Copyright 1999 Oracle Corporation. All rights reserved.
Enter user-name: system
Enter password:
Connected to:
Oracle8i Enterprise Edition Release 8.1.5.0.2 - Production
With the Partitioning and Java options
PL/SQL Release 8.1.5.0.0 - Production
SQL> Um, at least something here is reporting 8.1.5.0.2, on second thought, maybe it is not SQLPLUS itself....
