I thought someone might ask that question. We're taking this to prod and I could save time by doing 1 dev instance, and 1 qa instance (4 instances on dev and qa servers, while 1 on prod server) :)

So I'll have to do the calculations for all 4 instances on both dev/qa which is probably not a problem (keeping in mind will be the first time I have set this up *and* the first time our corp has *any* server running hugepages).

I am not trying to start a debate, I am curious. Why do you want one instance with hugepages and one without? I would think that there really wouldnt be an advantage to using standard pages.
