How about Precise Diagnostic Center? I like the fact that it shows
everything on one screen so you
know immediately if and where you have a problem and its interface is out of
this world!
We use TeamQuest. They're very low impact & do some nice current as well as
historical charts. They also don't do anything "funny" like try to attach
to
the SGA. I believe they have flavors for all OS's (we use the HP-UX
variant).
You can set alerts as you like.

Check BMC Software's PATROL http://www.bmc.com
We use it on UNIX / Compaq (Alpha) platforms and I know they have a version
for MS Windows as well.
