Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> Re: Full import from Oracle 7.3.4 on NT to Solaris 8.1.7
It will work fine. Ignore the errors. Create the db with tablespaces and if tbs names match, data will go into tbs w/ new datafile name.

Hi All,
I have not done subject line before. My question is doing a full export from
NT then importing onto Unix.
The export file will have a hardcoded path for creating the datafiles.
Obviously that will fail on UNIX.
What is best way to do full export from NT to UNIX. Should I just pre-create
the tablespaces then
import with ignore=y option?
Thanks
