sure, but its been awhile since I set it up...if I remember correctly the key is to set up your disks into two seperate plexs, as opposed to setting up disk groups. Could you hook me up with a vxprint and vxdisk list?
from the looks of the vxassist man page the problem might be that you are using "concat-mirror" vs "stripe-mirror"
maybe :
vxassist--
convert Converts a volume layout to a mirror-stripe from a stripe-mirror, or from a mirror-stripe to a stripe-mirror. Also converts to mirror-concat from a concat-mirror, or from a mirror-concat to a concat-mirror.
might cure what ails ya.
