Benchmarking

Hi all,

  We want to evaluate various disk subsystems. So we thought of a test. Basically the test will include

  1.Batch Job (timings)
  2.Online txns
  3.Imp
  4.Creating files of varying size (1, 2, 4, 8 GBs)

 All this test will be performed with individual disks, striping and mirroring.

  Apart from the timings should I measure any others things. Your valuable inputs is highly appreciated
