try using x11 port forwarding (with secure crt). if you do not have = this
then download from web .. www.vandyke.com

with this, as soon as u invoke scrt it will automatically forward the display and if you do echo $DISPLAY, u will have it set by default. = test
using some xprogram --> /usr/openwin/bin/xclock .. if the clock pop out = .. u
r set ..

oh .. u also need to have some x program running on ur box (like xceed)

Try this at a unix prompt as root:

xhost +

This should allow and X display from any terminal.

(Group, correct me if I'm wrong...)
