The only people that do not make mistakes are those that do not do anything. I even made one earlier this week. I made the mistake when I thought I had done something wrong when I did not.

And as far as becoming an adult, define becoming an adult.... My momma told me I could not drink coffee until I grew up. This fall I turn 40 years old this fall and I still cannot drink coffee, because I have still not grown up.

Rachel,

    Many a year ago, My father instructed me that every one makes mistakes, but
"it takes a man to admit to them" (I'll add woman to that too or is it more politically correct to say adult). Hopefully most of us fall into the adult category,
