exp on tape

Hello oracle friends!

I tring to use the export utility directly to tape. Is there any problem ?

I use:
  exp FILE=/dev/rmt1 PARFILE=myparfile

and I had :

• EXP-00002: error in writing to export file
• EXP-00222:
• System error message
• EXP-00002: error in writing to export file
• EXP-00000: Export terminated unsuccessfully

any idea ??
