ORA-7445 error from analyzing tables

Hi Guys,

We have a large database that we recently upgraded to 7.2.2.3. It's on a DEC alpha OSF1 3.2.

When we analyze large tables (estimate statistics) the SQL hangs and issues the following message in the init.ora file:

ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [11] [1] [2] [0] [] []

Has anyone else had this problem?

I have a call into Oracle, but they seem to be slow about an answer.
