TCP/IP

TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol) is a combination of network and transport level protocols that allow a computer to speak the same language as other computers on the Internet and/or other network.

TCP/IP is one of the network protocols supported by Oracle's SQL*Net.
