Re: UTL_HTTP post receives ORA-29273: HTTP request failed/ORA-12545 target host or object does not exist

Hmmm ...not sure what's going on, but ORA-12545 is a network connectivity problem. The fact that it's intermittent would lead me to ask you if you perhaps have some type of network connectivity issue, likely below the level of Oracle?
