How to extract data directly from a datafile ?

We need to extract the data of a datafile directly, because we donīt have the rest of the database (other tablespaces, controlfile, etc).

Are there some utility like DUL ?

What about Unicenter Fast Unload ?. Works it with the datafile directly ? Does it need the database open ?
