Relational = fixed width columns?
What the hell are you talking about Wol? There is NOTHING in the relational model that says columns must have fixed widths. Even in a SQL DBMS like Oracle you coudl define every column as a "CLOB" (effectively unlimited width character string) if that made you happy. Received on Thu Jun 10 2004 - 11:15:16 CEST
