I disagree about having a separate group just for relational technology.

This is just my point of view, but I consider appropriate any topic about data management theories and researches, or if you want, to put it another way, anything that could appear in the SIGMOD publications.

This means also that XML and other stuff can be discussed here, I don't generally agree with these technologies, and prefer to read about relational topics, but I can easily skip the others.

Moreover I think it's quite helpful for everyone to have the relational priests (as someone would call them) around because they can debunk arguments made by people that don't even have a clue about data management.

This, again, are just my .2 cents about it.

But then that would be the appropriate group not only for relational purist... I have some good examples in my twit filter ;-)
