Hi,
[Quoted] don't know if this is too late but i use gcc on sparc/solaris and also on linux to compile Pro*C programs. You don't say what your errors are? and also if you are using the standard make files. I had errors to start with using the standard make files rdbms_demo.mk and rdbms_env.mk - I simply copied them to a local directory and edited them to remove the sun compiler specific bits. I did this by compiling one of the examples and checking the output for errors and then searched for the compiler options not supported in gcc. You can also write your own make files if that is easier. But gcc definitely works - whether its supported - i am not sure?
hth
kind regards
Pete
