Ok, I know that are old machines, but my company is migrating a "core businness" application from a 24 procs S80 to a 24 procs E10K. I am DBA of this project and I am convicted that I need a > 48 procs E10k to substitute S80 without performance degration. Memory is not a problema, 20 Gb is enough. S80's I/O with 4 fiber channel connected in a Hitachi SAN. E10K'I/O it will be with 4 HBA too.
Using http://www.tpc.org like a basis, I need a 64 E10K, but in my opinion tpc.org is not absolutely trust.

Can any person give me about this question?

Tks.
