Obviously, you'll need a *consistent* 8i database first.
Migrating an inconsistent 8i database to 9i is just asking for trouble,
or you must be willing to leave this company soon.
That said: providing a description without an *exact* description of
all the errors you get, recognizing the fact, that no one here looked
over your shoulder when you tried to get out this of mess, won't get
you any accurate advice, other than to restore a backup of the 8i
database and work from there. Please don't say you have no backups and
no exports.
