thanks for your reply. what is the problem with renaming an OEM repository? in this case the whole thing is in a separate database and not existing in another.

and what is wrong with hacking one's way out? are you telling me that if you would trash an entire production instance if you couldn't find the answer in a manual?

just because something is not explicitly stated in a manual, doesn't mean it cannot be tried.
