If you want to demonstrate you prefer to hack yourself out instead of
doing things properly, you have now abundantly made that clear.
I guess you rather prefer to start hitting buttons instead of reading
manuals.
As you already have done numerous things that you didn't get from any
document, there is no alternative other than to trash the instance,
and next time spend some time on reading those manuals, before you
start hitting buttons.
Just out of curiosity: please refer me to any place in the docs
stating you actually *can* rename a repository.
