SYSDBA on Oracle 8.0.5

Hi,
i'm in trouble with Oracle 8.0.5 on NT4 Server SP6a I'm trying to connect as SYSDBA with SYSTEM or with SYS on the Instance Manager. The installation is a default fresh setup with a standard database. In normal mode the connection is succesfully established. I need to tune the instace with some further parameters for optimizations.

The message is always the same:

ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied
