No, what was said is that by changing a few parameters it is easy to Completely avoid lock escalation. But if you have a data warehouse database (that benefits from lock escalation) you can set the parms to encourage lock escalation. It is up to you. Received on Mon Feb 07 2005 - 20:56:35 CST
