I work in a software house in Italy (so sorry for my very bad english). I have downloaded the 10g version of Oracle Database (10.1.0.2). When I install it I see that when I try to connect to a Database version 8.1.7 (installed on an other server) I see the message below:

"ORA-03134: Le connessioni a questa versione del server non sono pił
supportate"
i think i can traduce:
"ORA-03134: Connections to this version of server are no longer supported"

It means that I can no longer connect to 8.x database with 10.x clients? Received on Tue Jun 29 2004 - 03:32:09 CDT
