Where to find information about LOCK_TYPE?

Hello,
I have run the script catblock.sql, and I can find out a few things when executing a select * from dba_lock. But - there is also some information there that I would like to know more about, but can not find. I have spent some time now searching in Oracle documentation (Tahiti), and found a lot about lock_types TM, TX, RS, RX, S, SRX and X. I have been searching for information about MR - Media Recovery, RT - Redo Thread and TS - Temp Segment. I have a feeling that these lock types are nothing to worry about, but I would like to know what they mean. There are also other possible values of lock_type that I could not find information about.
Can anyone give me a hint on where to look?
