Patching HPUX to 8174 fails

Morning Eric,

no books required !

I've alraedy been up that PATH with Oracle Support. Our CC compiler is being used and it is definately the one that O.S. want to be used - the brain dead HP default one.

which cc gives /usr/bin/cc
ls -l /usr/bin/cc gives a link to /usr/ccs/bin/cc ls -l on /bin/cc also gives a link to /usr/ccs/bin/cc

Same results with the loader (ld).

Norman, I'll throw something out, if I'm wrong I'll drop a book on my head
for mentioning it. But as far as the PATH goes you've made sure that the compiler that you would like to use is higher up in the PATH list than say
any other one? Sorry if I just wasted your time, but just though I would throw it out there.
