Hmm, that would require someone or something that placed one or more tablespaces in backup mode and leave them there.
I can't image that this happens here, since it's a hot standby config and none of our DBAs has manually put tablespaces in backup mode before the oracle crashes. And we don't have backup software run against the primary server which uses online backup.
Anyways, thank you for the hint, I will check next time oracle comes down... :-/
