SQL*LIMS is a LIMS (laboratory info management system) that runs as a
front end on oracle it is sold by Applied Biosystems. We are running
8i, and sql*lims uses oracle reports and forms at this point. AB has
not moved the product to java yet. And because we bought the product
as a bundle AB is our Oracle "support". Any help, pointers etc would
be appreciated. I can do this in m$ office, why not in Oracle? Or am
I a naive newbie?
We want to be able to enter and display both English and Chinese characters in both the sql*lims forms and in reports. We are running w2k server and clients and have them configured for Unicode and multiple language input/display. Is anyone out there doing this and if so can you please provide configuration information. Oracle is already setup for Unicode support.
