how to faster 100K records?

Hi, alls

In my DB, one table has 100K records.
I use one application to insert data to this table only, and in another application i get the data and make the day report of row data.

But it is slowly, the SELECT spends me 7 or 8 seconds, i used INDEX with PRIMARY KEY also.

How can i make faster ?
