OK, assume you have some means (other than Powerbuilder) to execute
SQL from outside the HP box. For example, in a workstation that can
connect to both NT and HP, you have something like SQL*Plus.
Now:
Pick up a typical SQL being used in Powerbuilder, one of the ones you
know is running slower against the HP database. Now, run it in
SQL*Plus against both systems. Do you still get the big diff?
You know of course what I'm trying to do here is isolate and identify the real reason of the problem?
