Some clarification might be in order. I set the Oracle Web Node Manager
service and the OracleStartOAS service set to start automatically on
boot of the system. I never have to manually start anything from the
command line or from OAS Manager. Everything comes up fine. This is when
I boot the system. But you can't start the individual OAS services from
the Services control panel and expect them to start (for reason's James
suggested). For that, you'll need to use the OAS Manager or OWSCTL
program.
