Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> Re: reliability of Oracle 8i under Linux
i don't use oracle/linux in production but...
it seems to work without a kink. it dump our web access logs into it with sqlldr. each month is about 2 million rows and it holds up fine. our middle-ware application that uses oracle requires oracle thin jdbc (815) and it DOESN'T work with the linux version. otherwise i haven't found any problems and i am happy to to see linux and oracle together on intel (instead of oracle/evil nt) :-)
