I need to get up to speed quickly on the role of DBA. I'd like to install
an Oracle database on my home Windows 95 machine but I'm not clear on what
package and version works on Windows 95. Currently offerings appear to be
Oracle 8, Oracle 8i and Personal Oracle 8i. From what I can determine the
Personal Edition 8i is the only one that might run on Windows 95 (Oracle
says Windows 98).
Which Oracle package will run on Windows 95?
