I 've managed to blank all the article desciptions in a table by using an
update statement with replace in SQL plus.
The update statement now in my minor problem.
I have stored the open (running, but not in use) database before and should
like to retrieve the table with the articles.
I now have done a complete dump and a storage with closed database
1. Is there a chance to recover the database from tape at all ?
2. What do I have to recover at least?
3. What problems do I have to face?
Talking about 1.250 articles it could be a stressing weekend for me, please
help.
