These are the features supported in Oracle EE but not in WGs ;
1.Parallel Query 2.Advanced Replication 3.Advanced Queuing 4.Connection Manager 5.Parallel Backup/recovery 6.Incremental Backup 7.Point-in-time tablespace Recovery 8.Multiprotocol Connectivity 9.Online Index rebuild 10.Bitmap Indexes 11.Diagnostics,Tuning and Change Management packs 12.Partitioning option 13.Automated Standby option 14.Parallel Server option 15.Jserver EE option
Incremental Backup/Recovery are supported by Recovery Manager .This feature enables backing up Datafiles that contains only those blocks that got modified since the last backup..
Point in time Tablespace REcovery allows Recovering Tablespace upto a Specific tme by rolling forward the Archived Redo log files onto the Datafiles..
All Datafile Headers,Control files and redo log files store System change nos(SCN) that behave like a Timestamp that helps in Transaction Mgmt & Recovery..
Hope this helps.
