Hi Watson error comes as a safegaurd against Win nt crash may be due to memory fault or Program acess fault or Any service voilating registry entry. A log file is generated which will give u the specific program instruction causing the error. Hovever u can check if adequate memory is available for shared pool plus operating system process and also oracle server process. If need be some entry for ORACLE may have been deleted from registry in which case u can recover from a registry backup or go for a new installation>that u can check by trying to uninstall if the oracle installer reports missing links run regedit32 search and manually remove all Oracle keys befor physically removing ORANT and reinstalling
