Excuse me? What makes you think that "Oracle types" are stuck on cooked files? I've been putting Oracle databases into production for almost 10 years and the vast majority of them are on raw. Oracle Parallel Server won't even work unless everything is raw - redo logs, control files and datafiles. Who have you been talking to? Received on Sun Jul 19 1998 - 12:08:53 CDT
