Trouble granting rights to view that call functions in packages in 7.3.3

Our dba changed the compatibility mode on our 7.3.3 server from 7.2 to
7.3 and we're having trouble granting select rights to views that make
calls to functions in stored procedures.



Whenever we try to execute the grant statement we lose our connection.
The error number is 3114, "not connected to Oracle".  We verified that
the user granting rights to the view has WITH GRANT OPTION privileges
for all dependent objects.
