Replication Experiences

We are working on a project to replicate data from a central Master database to several mobile agents and several static Agency offices.

Has anyone got any good or bad experiences with using Oracle Replication with Version 7 or Version 8?? At the Agency/Agent end we are looking at using Personal Oracle 8 and Personal Oracle Lite.

Any experiences would be helpful.
