Speed of all_objects

I have 2 Oracle 7.2 databases on NT where the all_objects view (select * from 
all_objects) is unbearably slow.  Are there any suggestions to speeding this 
up?  I wonder if some internal index is missing...



Note that otherwise these dbs are fast.
