Why two machines? I have Solaris running on a machine with Windows NT Workstation... on the same drive, no less. I'm pretty sure you can do the same with Linux.

Solaris 2.6 (beta) is quite simple to install. However, I can't give you the details until it's shipped... pesky NDAs, you know.
