JDK1.1.1 for Linux/x86 is available *now*. Please see http://www.blackdown.org/ for further info, including download sites. Expect the Alpha port to follow soon. Furthermore, Steve Byrne from Javasoft is making sure that the diffs made to 1.1 for portability (mostly by Randy Chapman) will be integrated into the current jdk1.2 development tree so that its port to linux (and other platforms) will happen even quicker.
