I know - I've had my zip codes changed twice (home changed to one and po box changed to another) and had my area code changed (business and home). Don't even get me started on domain name changes (like
@home.com!).

I have seen very few systems stable enough that I would consider defining a job to run once a year. (The OP was really asking how to run a job at the end of the year). I have seen screwups on systems where a job was only supposed to run once and then ran again the next year :-O (cron without full time sys admins seems particularly vulnerable to that).
