Oracle 8 migration assistant

Has anyone had difficulties with migrating a 7 to 8 database using the
Database Migration Assistant whereby you get an error that it cannot drop
the user DBSNMP as it is still connected?  Why would this be connected if
all services have stopped or am I overlooking something?
