Well obviously there have been some VERY helpful responses here so far, so I can probably only help a little more.

Here is a nice little tool you can use for free, and you're not obligated at all to use AWS as a target. Cross-database-type migrations are complex and have many moving parts, but this tool can get you off of square one.
