Probably a useful starting point (in lieu of a customer agreeing to have you learn on the job based on your existing credentials) is what they offer for free.

Subject states my case.

As a 20-year Oracle DBA, looking for the fastest, cheapest method to add AWS (RDS) cloud exposure to my resume. In a perfect world, it would be with a paid gig, but lacking that at the moment, what is Plan B?
