You choose a database, like you would choose anything else, like a car. You take into account the price, the performance and familiarity. How would you choose a car? You would first think about the purpose of buying a car. Do you need a pickup truck, SUV, family sedan or sporty toy for showing off, like Porsche or Camaro? The same thing is with the databases: do you need a data warehouse DB like Snowflake, do you need an OLTP database like Aurora, EnterpriseDB or DB2? What do you need the database for? How well versed are your developers in the particular DB flavor? What color of the database do you need? Allegedly, mauve takes the least RAM.
There is insufficient information for a sensible answer.
